What do you see?
I read a quote the other day. It said, 'Take a step outside of your body, turn around....and now, take a look a look at WHO you are."

When we look in the mirror each morning, do we like what we see? I don't mean literally. I think most of us would find some flaw (or so we think) in our feature, that we might want to change. But I'm talking about the person. The man. The woman that you are. The qualities that make up WHO you are. What do you see? The mannerisms. The way in which you conduct yourself. The way in which you treat others. The words you speak. The way you walk. The things you laugh at. Do you really like the person you see? Can you truly say you are completely happy with who you are, and who you are in Christ? Do you see a reflection of Him in your mirror?

I dare say that all of us could find something in our lives that we need to change. An area in which we need to grow, to make it more beautiful, more comely, more godly.

When I look into the mirror I want to see a holy woman. I want to "look like" Jesus. When I look at Susan, I don't just want to see brown hair, blue eyes. I want  to see kindness, I want to see compassion for others. I want to see a woman who speaks in godly conversation. I want to see someone who doesn't get angry often, someone who emits joy by her bubbly personality, someone whose words don't hurt others, but puts smiles on their faces. I want to see someone who conducts herself in a godly manner, at all times, especially when no one else is looking. I want to look like Jesus. His child. His chosen. His anointed.

Go ahead...take a look right now and be honest with yourself. Who do you see in that mirror?? Who is it that you really look like??? May the reflection of Him be so magnified in you, that when you take that look, you won't see the man or the woman at all, but instead you'll say, "I look like Jesus!"
